Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, Crompton Greaves Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 25, 2016, has fixed March 16, 2016 as the ‘Record Date’ for the purpose of reckoning names of the equity shareholders of the Company entitled to receive shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Limited - the resulting Company, pursuant to the Scheme of Demerger approved by the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay.
In view of the above, the Exchange shall make the necessary adjustments for all the available Futures & Options contracts on the underlying scrip Crompton Greaves Ltd. (Derivatives Asset Code – CRGL) as follows:-
· All the existing Futures & Options contracts on the underlying scrip Crompton Greaves Ltd shall expire on Monday, March 14, 2016. Derivatives contracts on Crompton Greaves Ltd shall be reintroduced from, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 being the ex-date.
· Based on the price determined after completion of the pre-open call auction session at 10:00 am in equity segment for scrip Crompton Greaves Ltd on March 15, 2016 minimum of 1 In the money, 1 At the money and 1 Out of the money strikes shall be made available for trading.
· Futures and options contracts of scrip Crompton Greaves Ltd shall be made available for trading in equity derivatives segment after the underlying scrip moves in normal market in equity segment at 10:00 am on March 15, 2016.
